Export Archived Messages - Spam Experts Hosted Cloud

There are two ways to export archived messages:

  • Using the Archiving > Export facility - Available to Domain Level users only

  • Using the Log Search - Available to Admin, Domain and Email Level users

Export archived messages using the Log Search

Use the Log Search to download your archived emails at Admin, Domain or Email level.

  1. Select Incoming > Logs
  2. In the Query Rules panel, select In archive and make sure the Yes button is selected alongside to include this in your search.

    You must add the Domain in the Query Rules for the export of multiple archived messages.

  3. Click Show Results to display all matching messages

  4. Select the message(s) you want to download by ticking the checkbox to the left of the message(s)
  5. To select all messages, click on the Select all icon at the top of the results list, then click on the Select all entries that match this search criteria link:

  6. Using the Apply to selected dropdown, select Export message from archive

    The data from the log search page should always be filtered for a specific domain before starting a multiple archived messages export.

  7. Click Apply

    The Export message from Archive window displays

  8. Enter File name, Description, and Password and select the specific Maximum zipped file size

  9. Click Export

    An email notification will be sent with the link to download the archive

View archive exports

  1. To view archive export requests, navigate to Archiving -> Search Incoming and Archiving -> Search Outgoing and click View archive exports.

    The Archive exports window displays which allows you to view all the export requests from the last 30 days.

    Following is the description of the fields in the Archive exports window:

    • Status: Displays the status of the archive export with the mouse hover

    • Name: Refers to the file name given by the user when the export was initiated

    • Destination: Refers to the email address where the notification with the downland link was sent

    • Progress: Refers to the progress in terms of percentage

    • Initiated: Refers to the export request date

    • Notified: Includes Resend to resend the email notification that includes the link to download the archived message for a specific archive export request.
